India Vs Pakistan, Group Stage, ICC women's world cup, 2017 - Ekta Bisht's magical spell helped India clinch victory against Pakistan.

Record breaking spell of 5 for 18 from 10 overs by left arm spinner Ekta Bisht helped India clinch victory against their arch rivals Pakistan. Both teams were playing their 3rd group stage match of ICC women's world cup, 2017.
Indian captain Mitali Raj won the toss and elected to bat first. Raut and Mandhana opened the batting for India as they have been doing in this world cup. Start was not good as India lost their first wicket in just 4th over for 8 runs when Mandhana got out LBW for just 2 runs on the bowling of fast bowler Diana Baig. Deepti Sharma came on the crease at no 3 and started playing very cautiously along with Poonam Raut. Indians had a very slow start with Pakistan bowlers were bowling at good line and length and not giving much scoring options to both batswomen.

Poonam Raut(47) and Shushma Verma(33) helped India post 169 runs against Pakistan
Deepti Sharma stayed on the crease for 63 balls making 28 runs before getting out on the bowling of Nashra Sandhu. Indian batting was not upto the mark today and were falling part. Captain Mitali Raj also got out cheaply for just 8 runs. Shushma Verma played a cameo in the middle order making 33 runs from just 35 runs hitting 3 fours and a six. Opener Poonam Raut made hard fought 47 runs off 72 balls. Indian team ended their 50 overs making 169 runs. Nashra sandhu was pick of the bowler for Pakistan taking 4 wickets for just 26 runs in her 10 overs.
Target was small but still a tricky one. Indian bowling attack is  one of the best in the women cricket and they showed why is it so. Mitali Raj gave the second over to Ekta Bisht and she justified the decision getting a wicket in her very first over getting Pakistani opener Zafar for just 1 run. And she did capitalized on the start and gave best bowling figures by an Indian bowler in world cup history. Her magical spell helped India clinch an easy victory as none of the pakistani batswomen had any answer to Indian bowling. Bisht took 5 wickets for just 18 runs in her 10 overs.
E Bisht (10-2-18-5) bowled the best bowling spell by an Indian women in all world cup matches.
Bisht along with other Indian bowlers with 2 wickets by Mansi Joshi and a wicket each to Goswami, Sharma and Harmanpreet gave Pakistani batswomen absolutely no chance whatsoever to even get near to Indian target. Whole team surrender for just 74 runs loosing the match by 95 runs giving India their third straight wicket in three matches.
India has now won all three matches and sits at top in points table with 6 points from their 3 matches. With their current form India certainly is the favourites to win the world cup this time.
Brief Score -
India 169/9, 50 overs (Raut 47, Sandhu 4/26)
Pakistan 74 all out, 38.1 overs (Mir 29, E Bisht 5/18)
