Mithali Raj shines with the bat and Rajeshwari toppled New Zealand with bowl to take India to the Semi finals of the ongoing Women's World cup, 2017. India will now face the defending champions Australia in second Semifinals on Thursday, 20th July. It was a D-day for both India and New Zealand. Both teams had to win the match to book semi final berth of the tournament. It started with New Zealand winning the toss and inviting Indian team to bat first. Poonam Raut, the centurion from the last match had a bad day today as she got out for just 4 runs as India lost the first wicket in 4th over of the innings.
