Zimbabwe triumphed over weaker Sri-Lankan side, wins the fifth ODI to win the series

Zimbabwe created history winning an ODI series against Sri-Lanka in their courtyard. They won the fifth and last match to take the series 3-2. It can be eyed as the lowest point for the Sri-Lankan team who had never lost to the bottom ranked teams at home. Zimbabwe won an away series after eight years Zimbabwe won the fifth match against Sri-Lanka by 3 wickets while chasing the target of 204 runs. Srilanka batting first could only manage 203 runs from their 50 overs in the series decider. It was a poor batting performance from them as none of their batsmen were able to score freely against the brilliant spin bowling display from Raza and cremer. They both took wickets and were very economical. They gave no loose balls to any of the Sri-Lankan batters. Gunathilaka and Gunaratne both made their individual fifties but they both batted with a poor strike rate of 60.47 and 72.84 respectively. Sri Lanka batsmen played very slow and were unable to even rotate strike for singles and

WI stuns India in the lone T20I, Evin Lewis slaughters Indian bowlers

Evin Lewis played remarkable innings of 125 runs from just 62 deliveries to help WI win the only T20I against India and win the one-off T20 series 1-0. This was his second century against India in T20s having achieved the same feat almost an year back in Florida. Chris Gayle who was included in the team couldn't do much with bat but Evin Lewis produced Gayle like innings in the centre. It rained sixes from his bat and none of the Indian bowlers had any answer to his brutal hitting. Evin Lewis made 125 runs and made his second century against India in T20I  Coin didn't favor Virat Kohli for the sixth time in as many matches in the tour. WI once again won the toss and elected to bowl first. Virat had called for heads in all 5 ODIs and lost the toss, he called for tails in the T20 and still lost it. Virat,  as was expected from him, opened the batting along with Dhawan. Both of them started to fire from the start. Virat started the India innings with a four on first ball of

India to take on WI for the lone T20, Gayle and Pollard back to strengthen WI team

India will be end up their campaign in WI with a lone T20 to be played in Sabina Park, Kingston. Virat's men have already won the one day series 3-1 and are reckoned as favourites for the T20 considering the current form. But then their is a twist in the tale, opponents have strengthened their T20 squad. Arguably the best T20 batsman in the world, Chris Gayle, Pollard and Narine have been recalled for the match. Chris Gayle last played an international T20 in World Cup, 2016 Chris Gayle will be playing an international T20 after the gap of more then one year. His last T20 for WI was the final of World T20 in April,2016. Players like Pollard, Braithwaite, Samuel Badree, Sunil Narine, Marlon Samuels making a comeback along with Gayle will give WI the much needed firepower. Gayle brings the firepower to WI batting lineup Pollard and Samuels are key in the middle order Narine can take wickets at great economy  India will also look to make some changes to the playing 11. India Vs Pakistan, Group Stage, ICC women's world cup, 2017 - Ekta Bisht's magical spell helped India clinch victory against Pakistan.

Record breaking spell of 5 for 18 from 10 overs by left arm spinner Ekta Bisht helped India clinch victory against their arch rivals Pakistan. Both teams were playing their 3rd group stage match of ICC women's world cup, 2017.                   Indian captain Mitali Raj won the toss and elected to bat first. Raut and Mandhana opened the batting for India as they have been doing in this world cup. Start was not good as India lost their first wicket in just 4th over for 8 runs when Mandhana got out LBW for just 2 runs on the bowling of fast bowler Diana Baig. Deepti Sharma came on the crease at no 3 and started playing very cautiously along with Poonam Raut. Indians had a very slow start with Pakistan bowlers were bowling at good line and length and not giving much scoring options to both batswomen. Poonam Raut(47) and Shushma Verma(33) helped India post 169 runs against Pakistan Deepti Sharma stayed on the crease for 63 balls making
